To make this necklace I started out with a sheet of sterling silver metal that I sawed out the tree shape. Then I used a disc cutter to cut out little circles of copper and brass to make the little flowers. The flowers were then cut, filed, sanded and domed to get there cute cherry bloom look. I used copper wire to make the circle to encase the whole piece. After all the pieces were sanded and textured, the piece was soldered together and then polished to a matte finish. To give the piece a little more depth a patina was added.

Thanks, typically I put a ton of hammer marks in the trees but I really liked how just a few gave it a more realistic look.
